This fabulous Antique Victorian necklace is set with the most beautiful workmanship from the Victorian period. Circa 1900
Two Ivy leaves sit either side of a crescent moon which then drops down to a large Citrine. Adorned with creamy Pearls all round.
Pearls have a wonderful lustre with a rich creamy tone, they are lovely lustrous and natural.
The name Citrine is derived from the colour - the yellow of lemon. Citrine’s sparkle and have a crisp, radiant quality about them.
Citrine is also known as Gold Topaz and is the birthstone for November.
Ancient cultures believed that placing a Citrine on the forehead of an elder would increase his psychic power.
